Our youngest little one Kinli has suffered from chronic ear infections bless her heart. On Oct 3rd we had a friend of ours Dr. Chambers who is an ENT put tubes in her ears. It was well worth the drive to Medford to be surrounded by our friends who happen to be LDS and in the medical field.
I felt very comforted as she was carted off by our LDS anesthesiologists and ENT and her 2 nurses. She was all smiles despite having to fast from midnight on. Afterwards she was not so smiley and it turned out that she had 2 HUGE ear infections when they went in to do the surgery. She finally came out of it when she heard her favorite person G-pa talk.
And then got happier and happier as bottle after bottle was made for her.
A Special thanks to her Aunt Kristi who lent us her "Santa Claus" blanket since we left Kinli's favorite blanket at the farm house. And to Juju who bought her a Lama which is now one of her prized possessions.
That's so sad, but at least she won't be in as much pain anymore. You are such a good mom!!
