GOODBYE WALLA WALLA
So we were supposed to be in Walla Walla for 6mos one day Todd goes to work and they tell him we'll be there an extra 6mos after the weekend he goes back in and guess what they tell us we'll be spending that 6mos in Portland! I was sooooooooo excited I was not the biggest Walla Walla fan although it was sad to pull Kya out of school we really LOVED her school. So in Short we were given 4 wks to move which turned into 3 which turned into 2! Yes 2 wks to drive over find a place pack and move. Luckily we are the Super Stars of Moving. Mimi came to help with the kids and day to day stuff and Todd and I went to town and we were done in no time. We had some guys come from the ward and the truck was mostly packed in 30min.
Our Niece Mary was in Pendelton for the State Basketball tournament it was so nice to take a quick break and buzz down to watch her and be with family. Unfortunately we left the next morning and missed the championship they ended up with 2nd. But all in all we had the BEST MOVE EVER!! We have the best place in the best neighborhood the best church we love everything about living here. And our truck was unloaded by our new ward in 15min!! It was crazy they were AWESOME!
Kya's last day of school was also conference night. Our 20 min conference ended up being 1 1/2 hours, I'm pretty sure we were scheduled last for a reason. It was really hard to say goodbye. Her teachers tearing up and had nothing but great things to say about Kya which was such a proud moment for me. I don't think it had really hit Kya what was going on yet. But Mell and Loretta will be missed!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe that you can move all your stuff with only one van! Did you just drive your little car (do you still have that car)?
Kya's hair is getting so straight compared how it used to be, but I suspect Kiersa's will do the same once it's long.
